Huge thanks go to Brian for the swift and trouble-free server upgrade for my client, Stan Urban, who recently made the semi-finals in The Voice UK. Stan's online profile went crazy after he played a duet with Sir Tom Jones singing 'Great Balls Of Fire' with Will,i,am rapping along with Stan's superb piano style. hi everyone, I'm new to Jamroom, migrating over from ning 3, I am having a hard time gasping everything, even after following the awesome documentation, I get lost when I get in the acp. I keep bugging tech support and they never complain no matter how many times they explain. if only there was tech support for comprehension lol, have a great day every one!

Jamroom and proxima

I know there's no documentation yet, but is it safe to run proxima on an existing jamroom build? there is no conflict with any existing modules right? I wanted to be sure because it the install only mentioned to in stall Proxima on the JR core. It didn't mention one way or another any other modules being installed.

I was wondering if there is a place to put all custom css in one place in the backend? I would imagine its natural home would be in the /core/skin_admin/style/skin=blahblah section but it's not there. Hey guys, I have been trying to download my premeium sites for my account but I don't receive the emails or the ability to downlowd what I have purchased. Can you help me with this since I have purchased a vps and the sites are broken when I transfered them. I just want to reinstall them all and start over. Thank you kindly.

This has had me confused for a while: If a profile quota has quota_jrProfile_privacy_changes set to "off", admin still sees the privacy options in profile settings but changing the setting has no effect. Shouldn't that dropdown be disabled, or not appear at all? Or should admin be able to override that setting for a profile?

Hey Guys Just checking is it by design that not all embeddable items don't display correctly in events? IE try and embed a youtube video, playlist, audio file etc in an event and it just outputs the tag code. Thanks Gary

I am planning to use Jamroom to allow members to publish their music lessons and articles in certain categories beside their music, pics, blog etc.. I am not sure if Jamroom is the correct platform for this purpose. Any comment on this would be really appreciated. Thanks..
